Itinerary

Pick up from your stay in Dar es Salaam and drive to Mikumi National Park over the Uluguru Mountains. Enjoy game viewing in the park. Mikumi abuts the northern border of Africa's biggest game reserve - the Selous. It is the most accessible part of a 75,000 square kilometre tract of wilderness stretching east towards the Indian Ocean.

Meals: Lunch & Dinner

Early morning breakfast followed by game viewing. Commonly found animals include lion, eland, hartebeest, buffalo, wildebeest, giraffe, zebra, and elephants. Wild dogs are also seen here in packs. The Mkata Floodplain often draws comparisons to the Serengeti Plains. After lunch at Kikoboga Camp, drive to Udzungwa Mountains National Park.

After breakfast, start trekking the spectacular trail up to Sanje Waterfalls. From here, you'll have a stunning view of the Kilombero Valley (180m). After lunch at the hotel, drive back to Dar es Salaam, arriving late evening for drop-off at your hotel or airport.
